CONCERT
LA DANSE COMPANY (formerly Microneers DanSe Company)
EXAMINATIONS, ASSESSMENTS & PRESENTATION CLASSES
Students are able to sit for Examinations, Assessments or Presentation Classes if they choose. Participating students receive a report, certificate and medal. Examinations, Assessments or Presentation Classes are by no means compulsory.
- JazzFunk Assessments are held in Term 2
- Tap Assessments are held in Term 2
- Contemporary Assessments are held in Term 4
- Tinytots Fairy Magic Assessments are held in Term 4
- Bopping Tots Assessments are held in Term 4
- R.A.D. Ballet Examination and Presentation Classes are held in Term 2 and 3.
RAD Ballet Exams and Presentation Classes
Students wishing to sit for the external R.A.D. Ballet Examinations must attend a minimum of two classes per week from Grade 1 and above to qualify. The Principal, in conjuction with the teachers, then determines each student’s suitability for entry to the Examination or Presentation Class. For further information check out the R.A.D. CONCERT
Held at a professional theatre in September each year, this provides the students with performance experience as well as a chance to celebrate their achievements. All students are offered the opportunity to participate. The Concert is not compulsory.
The 2008 concert will be held at the Frankston Arts Centre on Sunday September 14. Check out the Concert F.A.Q. for further information.
LA DANSE COMPANY (formerly Microneers DanSe Company)
The La DanSe Company is a group of students who work with a choreographer and learn dance pieces that they perform at different events and charities. Students must be aged between 8 and 18 and learning classical ballet. Entry is by audition only.
This year’s choreographer is Miss Genevieve.
