R.A.D. Classical Ballet

Ballet classes are conducted in the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus (R.A.D.) for children in Prep and above. The R.A.D. syllabus develops techinque, strength, confidence and artistry to the highest level.

TinyTots Fairy Magic Ballet

Developed for children aged 2 ½ to 5, this class teaches the magic of mime and dance through creativity. Loosely based on classical ballet it incorporates improvisation, mime, creativity, and coordination.

Bopping Tots

This fun, fast dance class is designed for children aged 3 to 5, incorporating all the latest music trends loved by pre-schoolers. It is based on the jazz style of dance and incorporates rhythm and coordination.

Tap

Tap classes are conducted for children in Prep and above. Classes are designed to develop rhythm, coordination, technique, confidence, fitness, and presentation.

JazzFunk

JazzFunk classes are conducted for children in Prep and above. Classes are designed to develop the latest jazz and funk techniques, musicality, coordination, confidence, flexibility, and presentation.

SongStars

Songstars classes are conducted for children in Prep and above. Classes are designed to develop vocal and jazz dance techniques, rhythm, co-ordination, confidence and presentation.

StreetDance

StreetDance classes are conducted for boys aged 8 and up. These classes are designed to teach the latest StreetDance moves including spinning, footwork, toprock, and freezes.

Adult Ballet

Adult Ballet classes are conducted for beginners as well as those who are rusty and have wonderful memories of their student days. These classes are great for overall fitness and flexibility.

Contemporary

Contemporary classes are conducted for senior ballet students to assist with the development of creative and expressive movement as well as enhance spatial and body awareness.

DanSrobics

DanSrobics classes are conducted for adults and caters for all abilities. These classes are a combination of Jazz dance and Aerobics and are great for fitness, flexibility and fun.

VCE Dance

Units 1, 2, 3 & 4 are taught by a VCE Dance Registered Provider.
AIMS of VCE Dance Units 1, 2, 3 & 4 –

  • To develop a safe, technical and expressive personal movement vocabulary (a range of movements and steps).
  • To develop a safe and anatomically aware use of the body.
  • To develop skills associated with a variety of approaches to choreography and performance.
  • To respond creatively to ideas emotions observations or explorations of movement.
  • Observe, experience and write about dance in an analytical, critical and reflective manner.
  • Understand cultural influences on their own dance works and those created by others.
